THE NEW HAPPINESS began as an online curatorial project in 2008 and generated a range of digital exhibitions, which looked at the format of scrolling in a all directions, endless cycles of clicking as well as linear modes of viewing digital art content.

The first physical exhibition, MISTAKEN IDENTITIES, was hosted at Modern Art Oxford for Oxford Pride and looked at artists who used other personas to make work.

Recently, TNH moved to a more permanent space, on the first floor of THE LOMBARD METHOD, 68A Lomdard St, B120QR, Birmingham, UK.
