Curriculum

in 2021, I began working at Wyndcliffe Primary as an Art and D&T specialist. They already had their own Art curriculum in place, but needed support in helping to develop it further to offer the children as much as we could.

 

I tried to create a balance between supporting the teaching staff with delivering quality Art education and also having enough freedom for them to shape it into what they wanted it to be.

In the future, I would like to merge both Art and D&T where possible as there are many crossovers and I think it in many cases, it would give the children a better sense of purpose to the things that they create.
